Abstract
Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) is seeing a pharaonic rise due to the developments in computer, graphics, and sensor technologies. Industry 4.0 is acting as a catalyst for the growth of these technologies. This review paper is prepared by percipiencing research papers and medical reports published in the last 25 years where Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality technologies are used to bring solace into the life of disabled individuals. Outcomes of different research are compared and critically analyzed.
