APLIKASI MANAJEMEN DATA UNTUK METADATA RETRIEVALMENGGUNAKAN AUTOMATIC METADATA GENERATION;DATA MANAGEMENT APPLICATION FOR METADATA RETRIEVALUSING AUTOMATIC METADATA GENERATION

Management of scientific based digital information become an important topic at this time with the number of research that produces large amounts of data and have a variety of formats. Data digital is vulnerable to damage that causes the data cannot be used again. Therefore, detailed information about the metadata of a digital resources are needed to ensure data in order to survive and accessible in the future. This research will develop a data management application using automatic metadata generation, named FITS, for extraxtion preservation metadata of digital data. The result fi metadata extraction is stored in non-relational database, MongoDB Based on test result, data management application have been created according to the needs that system has been designed. This aplication is able to store, manage and display a variety of file formats and its preservation metadata. As for the feartures contained in the application is upload file, explore file, searching, and user management.
