Abstract

Starting from Coulomb gauge scheme, we can eliminate the instant Coulomb force and replace it by propagating retarded Coulomb force field, in the realm of classical electrodynamics. Our proof is based on Thidé’s treatment and the conundrum surrounding the at-a-distance interaction is clearly solved, as shown in this article.
