The qualitative data were analyzed by the chi-square test, and multiple non-conditional logistic regression was used to evaluate the influencing factors. [Results]30.00% of residents had the health literacy on basic knowledge and concepts in Chaoyang District. The rate of health literacy on basic knowledge and concepts in 30-39 year-old age group was the highest. The people with better education level had higher level of health literacy. The correct answer rate of the correct understanding of osteoporosis was 7.13%. Logistic regression analysis showed the education level was the influencing factor of health literacy after other factors have been controlled.
