Abstract

Background: Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a varicella zoster virus (VZV) or shingles infection of the facial nerve that causes a Bell’s palsy type facial paralysis and hearing loss. Ramsay Hunt is frequently more severe than typical Bell’s palsy and is more likely to cause permanent facial paralysis. In this we describe treatment of a case of facial paralysis and hearing loss with TMS over the facial nerve.
