Abstract
Chapter 6 presents a study to clarify the effect of rainfall infiltration considering seepage flow on the deformation of unsaturated river embankments. From the numerical results, it is seen that the deformation of the embankment significantly depends on the water permeability of the soil and the strain is localized on the slope surface at the river side.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
