Abstract

This paper focuses on the importance of sufficient legal protection regarding online data privacy in Egypt with the focus of personal data. It is also confined with the effectiveness and strength of this protection. Also, we show the current state of the privacy-preserving techniques in Egypt in 3 parts: first section speaks about general meaning of the right to privacy, second one deals with types of infringement on this right in online data protection and third one discovers the data privacy protection serviced in Egypt.
