Abstract
The channel pattern of the drainage system is included under the linear aspect of the stream drainage basin. Under the water stream model, the topographical features of the open links ie streams or stream segments of the flow system are studied. Thus, the following are the important variables of morphometric study under the linear aspect of the drainage network of the drainage basin - stream grading, stream number, bi-branching ratio, stream length, stream length ratio, surface flow length, curvature index, etc. All these runoff are included under the main components of the basin
