2020 Most Influential Bioelectromagnetics Journal Paper Award

The Bioelectromagnetics Society is pleased to announce the award for this year's Most Influential Bioelectromagnetics Journal Paper by citation from among primary research articles published between January 2015 and December 2019. The authors of the paper are Eun-Cheol Kim, Richard Leesungbok, Suk-Won Lee, Hyeon-Woo Lee, Sang Hyuk Park, Su-Jung Mah, and Su-Jin Ahn. The paper is entitled, “Effects of moderate intensity static magnetic fields on human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells,” which was published in Bioelectromagnetics, volume 36, No. 4, pp 267–276, May 2015 [Kim et al., 2015]. Each of the authors received a certificate of the award from the Bioelectromagnetics Society during BioEM2021, the Annual Joint Meeting of the Bioelectromagnetics Society and European Bioelectromagnetics Association, held in Ghent, Belgium on September 26 to October 1, 2021. A monetary prize is also associated with the award. The Most Influential Bioelectromagnetics Journal Paper Award was established by the Bioelectromagnetics Society in 2007 to recognize scholarly contributions to the scientific community, and to acknowledge and foster ongoing excellence in scientific discovery and achievement in its field of research endeavor.
