Abstract

The multiplicity of secondary particles from pi /sup -/-p, pi /sup -/- n, and pi /sup -/-C interactions in a propane chamber exposed to a pion beam with a momentum of r = 40 plus or minus 0.6 GeV/c was measured. The multiplicities measured are tabulated. The dependence of the average number of gamma quanta on the multiplicity of charged particles was also determined. (JSR)
