Abstract
The second chapter provides general characteristics of active mineral admixtures in concrete, including highly active admixtures used in modern concrete technology in combination with superplasticizers. The influence of admixtures on the structure formation processes of cement stone and concrete as well as the ways of physical and chemical activation is analyzed. General characteristics of fly ash as a mineral admixture in cement concrete and design features of compositions with addition of ash are considered.
