Renovation and Construction Scheme of Traditional Engineering Specialty under the Requirements of New Engineering Construction

According to the “FIVE NEW” i.e. new engineering construction new concept, new structure, new mode, new quality and new system put forward by the Department of higher education of the Ministry of Education, this paper gives the renovation and construction scheme of traditional engineering specialty from three aspects of the guiding ideology of specialty construction, the goal of specialty construction and the path of specialty construction. According to the industrial chain and innovation chain, the paper focuses on the reconstruction of talent knowledge and ability system, deepening school enterprise cooperation, collaborative education, strengthening engineering practice, training innovation and entrepreneurship ability, paying attention to interdisciplinary disciplines and organic integration of new technology, and taking students as the center, establishing an evaluation system in line with the characteristics of engineering education etc. The implementation path of specialty construction is described in multiple dimensions.
