Construction Technology and Application of Modified Asphalt SMA Pavement in Construction of Highway Engineering

Highway engineering construction plays a crucial role in China’s economic development and urban construction. At present,the amount of traffic that the highway bears is increasing day by day. Overloading events occur in an endless stream,eventually leading to road damage and severely reducing the safety of highway use. As a result,the service life is shortened.Therefore,it is necessary to adopt advanced and scientific road construction techniques,while modified asphalt SMA is a hot mix asphalt mixture,and it is also a new type of pavement construction technology. This article focuses on the analysis and discussion of the construction technology and application of modified asphalt SMA pavement in highway engineering construction.
