The wide cross‐section of majors enrolled in this course are exposed to biological and chemical concepts that are fundamental to understanding agronomy, horticulture, and animal science. Additionally, world food supply, agriculture's history, and contemporary agricultural issues are discussed. Course content and format, a profile of students recently enrolled in this course, and student evaluations are discussed.
