Abstract
Learning with understanding and insight is quite different from less complex forms of learning through several features such as: (active, cumulative, goal-oriented, constructive, etc.) Learning with understanding is active learning because each student constructs the content and meaning of new information , ie. the student is a constructor of his own knowledge, while deliberate learning is cumulative because it is an upgrade of the previous structure, ie. prior knowledge. It takes place in the context of internal and external factors. Which means that the student makes decisions during the processing of information using metacognitive processes, where it is directed towards the goal of achieving learning outcomes, but also the quality of knowledge.Learning strategies are reflected in students' choices of how they will process information and learn. In recent times, individualized teaching is increasingly used in teaching practice, sometimes as an independent teaching system, and is often combined with other teaching systems. In this case, teaching from the average student is directed towards each student separately, in accordance with his individual abilities, needs and interests. Team work of teaching is also a good kind of teaching, but the following three things must be adhered to: flexible organization of the teaching staff, flexible schedule of classes - flexible work space.Other types of teaching and learning are listed, such as: exemplary teaching, programmed teaching, micro-teaching, heuristic teaching, responsible teaching, discovery learning, problem-based teaching, interactive learning, cooperative learning, etc. Education strategies are divided into strategies of experiencing, expressing learning and studying, as well as creating, and many more
