Abstract
Objective: To investigate the relationship between the changes of ultrasonic morphology \nand serum matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-2 \n(TIMP-2) and the degree of hepatic fibrosis. Methods: From May 2014 to May 2015, 55 \npatients with chronic hepatitis B were treated as the research object, the patients were treated \nwith percutaneous liver biopsy and liver fibrosis staging, the width of portal vein (MPV), \nspleen vein (SPV), spleen thickness, MMP-2, TIMP-2 level were detected by ELISA, and \nthe relationship between MMP-2, TIMP-2 and hepatic fibrosis was studied. Results: from \nthe beginning of S2, MPV width, SPV width and spleen thickness gradually increased, the \ndifference was statistically significant (P<0.05), MMP-2 and TIMP-2 levels were significantly \nhigher than normal control group (P<0.05), P<0.05 and MMP-2 levels increased gradually \n(TIMP-2), with statistical significance. Conclusion: it has important significance for the \ndiagnosis of liver fibrosis and the evaluation of the degree of fibrosis in the patients with \nchronic hepatitis B, and the detection of MMP-2 and TIMP-2.
