Abstract

The article discusses a method of designing a cycloconverter based on rotating magnetic field transformer. A mathematical description of such a transformer is given. A model of a five-phase cycloconverter is presented. A method of cycloconverter control is described. Study and comparative analysis of a five-phase cycloconverter with a three-phase cycloconverter are carried out.
