Abstract
The advances in our era lead to the rapid transmission of information along with the acceleration in various types of technological renovation. The Biochemistry industry can enhance the organizational performance of an enterprise via continuous service innovation. Therefore, service innovations have become one of the critical factors to the success of future enterprises. However, the basis of service innovations comes from organizational culture. Due to this consideration, this study aims at investigating the correlation between service innovation, organizational culture, and organizational performance for the Biochemistry industry. The Taiwan Biochemistry Group was selected as a case study and the results obtained from a questionnaire survey and data analyses are as follows. 1. All of the subjects expressed positive and optimistic point of view toward the influence of service innovation, organizational culture, and organizational performance. From the standpoint of organizational culture, the innovative culture has more significant influence as compared to the other two types of cultures including the bureaucratic and supportive cultures. 2. The implementation of organizational culture and service innovation does generate positive influence on the establishment of an enterprise’s organizational performance. That is, an enterprise which values more on its implementation of organizational culture and service innovation can better culture its own core competency and further enhance its organizational performance. 3. The organizational culture has a significant intervention effect on the influence of the service innovation on organizational performance. This phenomenon also verified the positive influence of the service innovation on the enhancement of organizational performance. There is an inseparable relationship between the three of them.
