Abstract
World Wide Web is a huge repository of web pages. Understanding the web user behavior is the key of success for any web based business or application. Analysis of web user behavior helps webmaster to provide good web navigation experience of the website. So, web is the abundant area of Data Mining research. Web mining is the extension of Data Mining. Web Usage Mining is the area of Web mining which emphasis on taking out of interesting knowledge from Web logs produced by Web servers. Cloud mining can be seen as a future of Web mining. This paper gives the categorization of web mining (i.e. Web content mining, Web structure mining, and web usage mining). This paper focuses on the various research tools and techniques of Web Usage Mining.
