Abstract
The process of formation of double layered hydroxides in the system Со2 + – Al3 + – SO42– – ОН- at the stoichiometric ratio of Al3 +/Сo2 + = 2 cations was studied by a complex method. The possibility of coprecipitation of cobalt and aluminum hydroxides, the optimal range of pH values for the production of precipitation, which are precursors of the synthesis of aluminocobalt spinel. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed the phase composition of the final product. Spectrophotometrically determined color characteristics of spinel.
