Abstract
Abstract The influence of the properties of the electric arc in an electric arc furnace (EAF) and oscillation operating conditions on the electric characteristics of the furnace operation is analyzed. A method is proposed to take into account the specific features of EAF as an electric energy receiver in order to increase the accuracy of predicting the power release in the arc for the technological process of heating and melting a metal.
