Abstract
The three schemes of the turbofan engine based on a common generator of free work were investigated: with a mixing chamber; without flows mixing; with a heat exchanger for heat transferring from the internal channel to outer one. A technique for studying of the energy exchange influence on the specific parameters of the turbofan engine was developed, which allows to appraise comparatively various schemes of the turbofan engine at the design phase. Based on the developed technique, a numerical study of the turbofan engine family of various schemes was carried out. The comparison of the investigated schemes was performed, their advantages and disadvantages were displayed.
