Abstract

Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), also referred to as Complementary and Integrative Medicine, refers to treatments outside of mainstream medicine. There are many forms of CAM, including mind-body and herbal supplements. This paper presents a variety of reliable CAM websites that may be of interest to consumers, including sites that help evaluate CAM treatments. Those providing CAM information to consumers must stress the importance of speaking with a healthcare provider to determine if the treatment is safe for the consumer.
