Abstract

we will touch on the global financial markets and their importance in facilitating sustained economic development. Next, we discuss equity markets, emphasizing primary and secondary markets, market size, and trading volume. We follow up with a high-level overview of initial public offerings (IPO's) from a monetization and wealth creation perspective. Next, we examine the financial market interaction (relative movement) as it relates to prevailing market conditions (notably interest rates, economic growth, inflation, and credit spreads), market cycle stage, and currency markets. Lastly, we illustrate the risk reduction benefit associated with currency diversification.
