Abstract

With the deepening of complex network research, related theoretical methods have become more mature, and the study of interdependent networks has gradually attracted people's attention. Studying the robustness of interdependent networks is of great significance for the establishment of real-world network models. The generation mechanism of the interdependent network model is analyzed. Combining with the research of the dependent network theory, starting from a single network cascading failure form, a giant component-based dependent network cascade failure model is established. Network robustness of BA-BA, WS-WS, and ER-ER are studied in attack and combination attack modes. The results show that the BA-BA interdependent network has the highest robustness under random failure modes, the ER-ER interdependent network has the highest robustness under random failure modes, and the network robustness under combined failure modes is determined by the main failure modes. The conclusions obtained in this paper can provide reference for subsequent research on cascading faults in interdependent networks.
