Abstract
Today  efficiency of the  Federal state unitary  enterprises causes many  disputes in Russian economy. Many consider this organizational-legal form  become outdated and  inefficient within the  limits of modern economic model of asociety. In article the  economic essence of the  federal state unitary  enterprises is shown, the  analysis of their efficiency is carried out,  described the basic problems which have  the state enterprises and  offered variants of an exit from a current situation.
