Abstract

The solutions of heat and mass transfer problem, growth problem of cells, electric circuit problem, drugs delivery problem and spring-mass problem easily determined by developing their mathematical model in terms of Volterra integro-differential equations or their system . In this paper, authors present Laplace transform for obtaining the solution of system of second kind linear Volterra integro-differential equations. Two numerical problems have been considered and solved using Laplace transform for explaining the applicability of Laplace transform. Results of numerical problems show that the Laplace transform is very effective for determining the solution of system of second kind linear Volterra integro-differential equations.
