A STUDY ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIZATION CULTURE AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT

Abstract

Today organizations, by embracing principles and expectations embodied in their communities that are adaptable to the world they work, are dealing with the possibility of increasing their members' commitment rates. Yet commitment remains and is a difficult challenge to conquer for management. The study has been conducted with an objective to investigate and establish a relationship between two organizational parameters i.e. Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment. The empirical studies included the participation of 250 respondents from IT companies located in New Delhi. In order to assess the relationship between organizational culture and organization commitments, a survey was carried out using the organizational commitment scale and the organizational culture questionnaire. The hypothesis was evaluated using multiple regression analysis. The study findings revealed that organizational culture and organizational commitment have a strong and significant relationship.
