Abstract
Abstract This article describes a method of altering an ordinary celery planter for use in transplanting seedlings in forest tree nurseries. The machine has given such excellent results in the South Muskegon Soil Conservation District in western Michigan that the author believes it may soon replace transplanting boards in most forest nurseries on sandy soils.
