THEORETICAL FUNDAMENTALS OF LOGISTICS ACTIVITIES OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES

Changes in modern world economic environment lead to the fact that, studied by science and approved as postulates, concepts and categories acquire new meaning, require new theoretical study and definition. Logistics and all related terminology are this category. The article aims to analyze theoretical research of Ukrainian and foreign scientists on the definitions of "logistics activities", "logistics activities of enterprises", and one of its sectoral varieties – logistics activities of agricultural enterprises in chronological order and give its own vision of these concepts. The main research methods include analytical, monographic ones, etc., the result of the study consists in conducted analysis of scientific achievements of economists and formation of the author's estimation of these definitions. Scientific article, unlike others, allows to track changes in the views of scientists over time and the process of forming their modern vision of certain categories and concepts of logistics activity and its development in Ukrainian science during its transition to completely new living conditions, the main of which consist in digitization of economy and its inclusion in the processes of globalization.Having conducted such a study of logistics activities of enterprises, including agro-industrial complex, in chronological order, we have determined that in different economic periods, due to different reasons and factors influencing both the economy and logistics, there was a different pace and conditions of development of these concepts, which, ultimately led to a modern vision of these categories and terms. According to the results of the study, the own vision of the essence of the logistics activities of the enterprise is proposed. It is determined that the result of the logistics activities, in our opinion, is a logistics service; and since logistics is the integration of some primary activities, the logistics service may be a symbiosis of different services, which reflects the degree of achievement of the purpose of the activity, namely the result of logistics is a set of services for moving and placing goods and/or people. The prospect of further research in this area is a more detailed consideration of the components of logistics activities, including agro-logistics activities, and methods for assessing its optimization and efficiency in modern economic relations.
