Abstract
What does it mean to say that a life in law is a paradox?A paradox is a seemingly contradictory statement which is nonetheless true despite the contradiction.A person or situation is deemed paradoxical when it has contradictory aspects.The premise of this essay is that a life in law involves major contradictions which make living such a life paradoxical.'This essay is based on the view that there are two seemingly contradictory ways to orient our life in law.The challenge is to
