“STATUS” OF EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY IN EMPIRICAL SPACE OF PSYCHOLOGY: METHODOLOGICAL ASPECT

In this publication is analyzed the problematic situation of methodological character concerning correlation of concepts of empirical and experimental psychology. Opposing tendencies in understanding of this question are derived. An important meaning of an experiment for the development of psychology is emphasized. An attempt of investigation of experimental paradigm, its “status” in empirical space of psychology is made. It is proposed to allocate the following preferred taxonomy of psychology: in fact empirical psychology, classical empirical psychology and experimental psychology
