Abstract
In this final paper, the marketing mix is defined, and the elements of the marketing mix are described in more detail. The marketing and the marketing mix are conceptually defined, as well as the features for each element of the marketing mix individually; product, price, distribution and sales and promotion. A product is defined as an element of marketing mix. The phases of the product life cycle, the functionality of the product, and the brand of the product by which a product is recognizable are described. Price is defined as the only element in the marketing mix that brings revenue to the company. Distribution channels are also defined through which the product travels from producer to consumer. Then the promotion is defined, and the elements of the promotional mix are defined. The paper analyzes in detail the marketing mix on the example of the company Ilsad d.o.o. and thus the theoretical part of the paper is compared with an example from practice.
