Abstract
In routine activity communication, people use language to communicate with each other to share information, ideas, experiences and to make people do something. While having the communication, one should obey the maxim to be said cooperative. If he violates one of the maxims there is an implied meaning (implicature) behind that. According to Grice (1975), Cooperative Principle consists of four maxims. The maxims are maxim of quantity, the maxim of quality, maxim of relation, and maxim of manner. In this research, the researcher describes Grice’s maxims used in the interview Prince Harry and Meghan, and the researcher found there are violations made by the speakers during the interview
