Abstract

Dear Editor, Knockout experiments are critical for the evaluation of gene function.Researchers have increasingly relied on genome editing technologies for precise mutagenesis at loci of interest, using engineered nucleases such as Zinc finger nucleases, transcription activator-like effector nucleases (TALENs),and CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced sihort palindromic repeats)-associated proteins.
