Abstract

Using Sugar Baby which was susceptible to Fusarium wilt as maternal plant,D 3 1 and D 3 2 which were high resistant to wilt disease were crossed respectively. F 1 hybrid showed high resistance to the disease. The separate ratio of resistance to susceptibility of BC 1 hybrid which was backcrossed by susceptible parent-Sugar Baby and F 2 hybrid populations coincided with 1∶1 and 3∶1 respectively. The results showed that resistance to Fusarium wilt was a kind of dominant inheritance controled by mono gene or mono segment DNA. Using the materials which were resistant to wilt as parent,5 hybrid combinations with fine characters were bred. Among these,3 were high resistant to Fusarium wilt, the other 2 were middle resistant to the disease.
