Abstract

The genetic similar coefficient of 66 maize inbred lines was determined by 32 pairs of SSR primers and their genetic relationship was analyzed by clustering analysis to study the genetic diversity of maize inbred lines and improve breeding efficiency in Chongqing. The results showed that:1)307bands are detected by 32 pairs of primers and 4-25 bands can be detected by a pairs of primers. The polymorphism band accounts for 80.78% and the variation range of PIC is 0.516~0.988 with an average of 0.721.The variation range of genetic similar coefficient among tested inbred lines is 0.54~0.88 with an average of 0.68.Most genetic similar coefficient is 0.60~0.70,accounts for 60.33%,which indicates that the genetic relationship among tested inbred lines is closer but there still is a certain difference in genetic relationship;2)66inbred lines can be divided into 6groups.The modified Reid group and Ludahonggu group accounts for 24.24% and 60.60% respectively.Other germplasm groups, especially tropical germplasm resources should be used in maize breeding in Chongqing.
