Abstract
Objective Investigate a rapid、accurate method of scintillation and non scintillation liquid on counting the radioactivity of 32 P. Methods According to the theory of Cerenkov radiation, different counting medium and condition on 32 P were studied. Results ① In different counting medium, the counting efficiency of non scintillation liquid in water, air and filter paper were 84%,67% and 60% of the scintillation liquid efficiency respectively.② Different vials: The plastic vials dealed with scintillation liquid had the highest counting efficiency, while the ordinary plastic and glass vials were 69% and 50% respectly. ③ The volume of samples (from 30 uL to 10 mL): the counting results of the samples of defferent volume were not significant change (P0.05). Conclusion The “dry” counting of 32 P by plastic vials dealed with scintillation liquid can obtain the highest counting efficiency, and can be used repeatly.
