Ore-control Factors of Rock Ore Deposits Hosted in the Ordovician Volcanic Rocks in the Tuole Area of the Central Qilian Mountains

The rock gold in the Tuole area,the middle section of the Qilian Mountains,is mainly hosted in the Ordovician volcanic rocks of this area, and shows a significant control by strata. The mineralization related to volcanism is mainly hydrothermal ore deposits formed by volcanic hydrothermal fluids in the late period of volcanic eruption,and mid-low temperature hydrothermal deposits and contact alteration ore deposits formed by metasomatism and filling with material sources from the late period of magmatic activities. Viewed from prospecting prospect,it is clear that although there are many gold ore occurrences and mineralized distribution spots in this area,only a few large-scale ore deposits are found. The effort of ore-search in this area should focus on volcanic hydrothermal alteration type deposits.
