An Analysis of Security Issues Associated with Cloud Computing Paradigm

In recent years, cloud computing had a great impact on technology. Cloud computing has formed a conceptual and infrastructural basis for future computing. It provides services like Software as a Service, Platform as a Service and Infrastructure as a Service which can be deployed on / by private cloud, public cloud, community cloud or hybrid cloud. With the number of advantages of this technology, it comes with various challenges and issues simultaneously. From the challenges, security is considered the most critical one as the data is stored on the remote locations with the help of the Internet instead of using hard disks. This paper firstly discusses the basics of cloud computing, its service models and deployment model and then focuses on cloud security and issues related to it.
