Abstract

A new monotypic genus of ricaniid planthoppers (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Ricaniidae) from New Georgia Island (Solomon Islands),Kazukurugen. nov., is described forK. zingiberissp. nov.(type species). Habitus, female, external and internal genital structures of the new species are described and illustrated.
