Abstract
Objective: To compare the basilic vein, median cubital vein, cephalic vein in three different ways of PICC tube and the success rate of catheterization after the occurrence of mechanical phlebitis, and to search the best catheter approach. Methods: 153 cases of tumor patients with PICC from 2010 to 2012 in our department of the catheter and the success rate of catheterization after the occurrence of mechanical phlebitis were retrospectively studied. Result: Three ways to PICC the success rate of catheterization comparison: the basilic veinmedian cubital veincephalic vein, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05). Three ways of PICC intubation mechanical phlebitis rate: the basilic vein median cubital vein cephalic vein, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion: Pathways of PICC catheter should be the first choice of the basilic vein, followed by the median cubital vein, the last is the cephalic vein.
