Abstract
【Objective】The development level of agricultural informatization in Shandong Province during 2001-2012 was evaluated in order to speed up Shangdong agricultural informatization and modernization process. 【Method】The method of analysis hierarchy process was used to construct the comprehensive evaluating model of Shandong agricultural informatization and the development level of agricultural informatization in Shandong Province during 2001-2012 was evaluated by the model. Based on the analysis, relevant countermeasures were recommended. 【Result】The comprehensive developmental level of Shandong agricultural informatization was continuously improving during 2001-2012, and application of information technology was more and more popular in agriculture. However, the output of Shandong agricultural informatization was not in line with the growth of total GDP. The foundation level of Shandong agricultural informatization improved rapidly from 2003 to 2007 and then growth rate slowed down during 2008-2012.The amount and quality of agricultural informatization professionals needed improving urgently. During the late 11th Five-Year Plan and the 12thFive-Year Plan, the developmental potential of Shandong agricultural informatization improved markedly. 【Suggestion】Some countermeasures, such as putting emphasis on training professionals of agricultural informatization, improvement of farmers informatization level, raising the service capability of agricultural informatization service industry, strengthening the role of the government in construction of agricultural informatization,increasing the technology content and encouraging the innovation of agricultural technology, were put forward to promote the rapid and healthy development of Shandong agricultural informatization.
