Abstract
2 2 Abstract- The effects of Coulomb gauge condition (CGC) on finite element solution of eddy current problems with magnetic vector potential is investigated. For 3D calculation formulations in terms nf magnetic vectnr potential (MVP) with electric scalar potential (ESP) and modified magnetic vector potential are usually used. The result of these formulations may be varied as CGC for ensuring uniqueness of potential is appended to the governing equations. The result shows that the formulation with MVP and ESP appended by CGC provides accurate solution and fast convergence.
