Abstract
The nutritive value of Dactylis glomerata L.new lines,YA02-116,YA01-101,YA01-103,02123,and 01071,at different cutting times were analyzed in this study with D.glomerata cv.Baoxing as control. The results show that cutting had significant effects on the nutritive value of D.glomerata new lines. The crude protein content of the regrowth decreased, while ADF and NDF increased, significantly in comparison with that of the first cutting and the nutritive value of the first cutting was superior to the following regrowths.According to the Subordinate Function Values Analysis,YA 02-116 and YA 01-101 had the potential of extension value due to their higher nutritive value than that of Baoxing. These results will be used as the academic proof in future selection and breeding of D.glomerata new variety.
