Abstract
Possibility of palladium separation and preconcentration by H-clinoptilolite has been studied. As a result of this experiment the sorbent fraction with diameter of grain 0.200-0.315 mm was selected. Sorption kinetics under static conditions was studied. It was determined that equilibrium is established in one hour during the shaking. The conditions of natural sorbent modification by solutions of HCl, HNO 3 , HClO 4 , H 2 SO 4 have been investigated. Optimum concentration limits of acid solutions for transformation clinoptilolite of into H-form have been determined. Optimum conditions of palladium(II) sorption on modified sorbent have been investigated. Sorbent modified by concentrated HCI possesses maximum sorptive ability. Evidently, it is connected with the formation of complexes on sorbent surface. Sorption capacity of H-clinoptilolite is 11420 μg g - 1 .
