Abstract
[Objective] To explore the factors which can take passive or positive effect on coping style of medical college students and to provide theoretic basis for behavioral or psychological education to college students.[Methods] Four hundred and fifty-six students were surveyed with modified coping style questionnaire.[Results] There we found no significant difference in either passive or positive coping style scores between schoolboys and schoolgirls.Stepwise regression analysis indicated that ‘interests and tastes' and ‘human relations' had strong influence on both passive and positive coping style.[Conclusion] The authority of school should direct the students to cultivate a great variety of interests and to establish good terms with each other.
