Countermeasures for Guangxi agricultural transformation supported by science and technology

【Objective】The paper was aimed to propose countermeasures for Guangxi agricultural transformation supported by science and technology in order to provide references for promoting the transformation of agricultural development methods.【Method】The achievements and existing problems of Guangxi agricultural transformation supported by science and technology, and the technological demands of agricultural transformation in Guangxi were analyzed. Based on the problems and demands, countermeasures for Guangxi agricultural transformation supported by science and technology were proposed. 【Result】Some achievements were made in Guangxi agricultural transformation supported by science and technology, including: significantly raising of agricultural production, strongly supporting the development of modern agricultural industry, upgrading the scientific, technical and cultural quality of farmers, speeding up the development of efficient, ecological and circular agriculture, etc. However, there were problems, including weak independent innovation ability, lack of effective supply of science and technology, impeded achievements transformation channel, low achievements transformation rate, low farmers' quality,poor science and technology application ability, low level of science and technology management, backward system and mechanism, and shortage of innovative security conditions. 【Suggestion】In order to promote Guangxi agricultural transformation supported by science and technology, some suggestions were put forward, including strengthening innovation and integration of generic and key technology in dominant and special industry, optimization of agricultural science and technology structure to raise the overall level and suitability of agricultural science and technology, increasing the transformation rate of scientific and technological achievement, improvement of scientific, technical and cultural quality of farmers to increase their absorption capacity of science and technology, reinforcement of theoretical research and innovation of agricultural science and technology, enhancement of construction of agricultural science and technology innovation platform to increase the innovative ability, construction of two talent teams to strengthen science and technology innovation and transformation, deepening the cooperation and communication of agricultural science and technology, etc.
