Abstract
The simulation model of typical entrained flow pressurized coal gasification,Shell coal gasification process, was founded based on ChemCAD simulation software. The minimum Gibbs free energy method was used as the reaction model of the coal gasification. In order to analysis the effect of the main process parameters,oxygen-coal ratio,steam-coal ratio and pressure,on the performance of the coal gasification, full factorial simulation experiments were carried out.The results show that the oxygen-coal ratio is an important factor to the gas production rate and the component of the syngas, and also impact significantly to the consuming indicators of the coal gasification. The efficiency indicators such as gas production rate increase with the oxygen-coal ratio increasing, while the consumption indicators reduce. The steam-coal ratio can enhance the syngas production rate, but mainly affect the amount of H2 in the syngas. The consuming indicators of the coal gasification are also affected by the steam-coal ratio. The effect of pressure on the gasification performance is not significant. Then,an integrated balanced optimization method was put forward to optimize the parameters based on the method of main effect analysis and range analysis. This method can find a set of process parameters to optimize all the indicators of the coal gasification performance combined as a whole as best as possible.
