Abstract
Optimizing urban spatial distribution is very importanf for speeding up urbanization and raising level of urbanization. Based on present situation and existing problems of urban spatial distribution in Hunan province, the author points out that urban spatial layout in future must connect with express construction and apply spot-axis distribution model and primly construct core, one column and three crossing cities and towns cluster and zones which composes metacarpus structure in order to further province-side urban spatial system development. Some countermeasures of optimizing urban spatial distribution are put forward.
